In over half a century Care to Give has raised awareness of health issues,
raised patient spirits and raised more than $1 million. Care
to Give is an
active force and plays a vital role in helping Riverview
Medical Center remain pillars of medical excellence within the
community. Care to Give sponsors programs that touch almost every patient,
improving lives within the hospital and out in the community. Through
donations, profits from its gift shops and signature events such as Party for
Pink and Reason to Party, the council's loyal philanthropy has benefited The
Jane H. Booker Women's Center, Life Changing Campaign for Surgical Excellence,
the Paint the Town Pink Fund, as well as Oncology services at both hospitals.
Care to Give is very pleased to announce the nomination of our longtime president, Kelli O’Brien, for the 2017 Junior League of Monmouth County Women Making a Difference Community Volunteer Award. She is a role model, inspiration, and mentor to the members of our Auxiliary, and we couldn’t be more proud to honor her for her many contributions to Riverview Medical Center and our community. Congratulations, Kelli!
