Our Story
Care to Give is honored to carry forward the purpose of our organization which began in 1929. Originally known as the Red Bank Auxiliary, a group of volunteers met with the purpose of raising funds to support a hospital in Red Bank. Riverview Medical Center stands today partially as the result of the determination & hard work of those early volunteer visionaries. In 2011 the Board of Directors voted to change the name of the Auxiliary to Care to Give. Care to Give owns & operates the Riverview gift shop. Over the decades, Care to Give has raised over 1.2 million dollars, through fund-raising events & gift shop sales, for outreach, hospital improvements & patient care.
Care to Give is the bedrock of the Riverview Community. It supports our team, it supports our physicians, it seeks & supports our community’s greatest needs.

About Care To Give
In over half a century Care to Give has raised awareness of health issues, raised patient spirits and raised more than $1 million. Care to Give is an active force and plays a vital role in helping Riverview Medical Center remain pillars of medical excellence within the community. Care to Give sponsors programs that touch almost every patient, improving lives within the hospital and out in the community. Through donations, profits from its gift shops and signature events such as Party for Pink and Reason to Party, the council's loyal philanthropy has benefited The Jane H. Booker Women's Center, Life Changing Campaign for Surgical Excellence, the Paint the Town Pink Fund, as well as Oncology services at both hospitals.
